About the Blue Line
The third phase of the ambitious Indy Go Expansion, the Blue Line, offers frequent and reliable transportation to the West Washington Corridor and $90 million in new infrastructure investment starting 2023. The Blue Line spans 24 miles along Washington Street and will provide 24-hour service across 39 stops every ten minutes.
Building out the Blue Line will cost $220 million. It will be paid by a 2016 transit referendum in addition to state and federal funds. The local transit tax will fund operations. In total, the Blue Line will bring $90 million in new infrastructure investment and has the potential to stimulate millions more in increased real estate values and business revenue.
